The Patio de Comidas is a summer weekly event (Every Saturday from July 6 – August 24) that brings food-based entrepreneurs and entertainment to Riverside Park featuring culinary specialties and
artists geared to the growing Latino community. All our vendors are immigrants and live in New Bedford with dreams of starting a business, and the Patio de
Comidas provides an affordable path for these entrepreneurs. We help organize the Festival Tipico de Guatemala with a volunteer committee made up of New Bedford residents who help plan, raise funds, organize, and execute the festival.
