Innovation in Offshore Wind: Corporate Outlook & Startup Engagement
December 8 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm ESTfree
Connect with corporate offshore wind stakeholders for a better understanding of their approach to innovation and startup engagement
About this event
THE CORPORATE – STARTUP INTERFACE
Offshore wind developers and service providers are working on solutions to an array of challenges in the wind sector as they build a competitive and responsible industry on the East Coast. Startups may be able to help corporate stakeholders, but it is often difficult for entrepreneurs and young companies to find ways to effectively engage. Startups need to find appropriate entry points to gain access to pilot opportunities that will allow them to prove their concepts and value to developers and service providers.
The purpose of this reverse pitch event is to give corporate offshore wind energy stakeholders an opportunity to present their opportunities and challenges to startups and innovators. It will help startups understand how their technologies fit into offshore wind development, making it easier for them to effectively connect with and provide solutions to offshore wind developers and service providers.
This event will help set the stage for our Innovation in Offshore Wind Startup Showcase on January 25, 2022. Insights you gain here can inform your applications to pitch at the Showcase, which will be due December 15, 2021.
