The award-winning NextStage MBE Academy, powered by Interise’s StreetWise ‘MBA’™ curriculum, is making its return to the South Coast. This program has already empowered over 9,500 graduates, witnessing an average revenue increase of 38%. Designed for minority and women small business owners, it offers the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary for substantial business growth, preparing you to effectively scale your enterprise.

Described as “game-changing” for BIPOC and women-owned businesses, the program focuses on creating actionable steps, systems, and confidence to maximize business potential. Participants will engage in interactive class sessions, peer mentoring groups, and learn from local experts across finance, marketing, strategy, and procurement, culminating in a customized three-year strategic growth plan.

The Five Stages of Small Business Growth

We am inviting you to join a committed group of local area-based business owners for interactive class sessions, peer mentoring groups, and the opportunity to learn from local experts in the fields of finance, marketing, strategy, and procurement. Complete the program with a customized three-year strategic growth plan – plus, the confidence and ability to turn those plans into action.

The program will begin in March 2024 and includes 13 sessions that meet in person every other week in the evening at the Quest Center in New Bedford. To secure your place in the program, APPLY HERE, here as soon as possible. The program is free of charge for all participants!

Are you eligible for the program?

  • BIPOC and or women owned business
  • Business owner with 51% or greater ownership of the business
  • Company located in the Southcoast areas (New Bedford,  Fall River, etc)
  • Approaching $150,000 in annual revenues and not to exceed $10,000,000
  • One other employee besides the owner(s)
  • Been in business for at least 3 years or more
  • Willingness and ability to attend a 7 month course, complete mandatory assignments, and complete program surveys as requested
